Storage Assessment

Deadman Creek

This is the site on Deadman Creek for the instream flow monitoring project. It is located near the confluence of Deadman Creek and the Little Spokane River below US Highway 195 near Mead, Washington. It is situated at approximately 1700 feet above sea level. The drainage area for Deadman Creek at this site is approximately 95 square miles.

There is no current or historic USGS gaging data available at this site. The Spokane County Conservation District has established and maintains a stream gage at this site.
The Department of Ecology has monitored surface water quality near this site in 1993 and 1994 at river monitoring station 55c065.

This site will be monitored for depth, water velocity, discharge and water surface slope seven times over the period of this study. Cover and substrate information for this site was also collected.
