Study Objectives
In August 2002, the WRIA 55/57 Planning Unit began an investigation of instream flows on the Little Spokane River. The goals of this work were to:
1. Conduct an evaluation of instream flow to ensure the well being of aquatic biota and to be consistent with the statute and guidelines provided by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife;
2. Protect the hydraulic component of aquatic habitat of the Little Spokane River system (i.e. stream flow variability and volume).
Study Sites
Transects at six reaches on the Little Spokane River were measured for depth, velocity, cover and substrate. The general location

The Instream Flow report has been broken up and
is posted here in parts to facilitate downloading. The text alone
is approximately 232 KB in size, the largest file is approximately
