City of Deer Park

Located in northern Spokane County on Highway 395, Deer Park has a population of 3,017 within the city limits. 20,000 additional people live within 15 miles of downtown Deer Park. The City of Deer Park consists of 4,180 beautiful acres within its boundaries. The terrain is rolling hills, approximately 25 % forest, cleared land is primarily small farms and homes.

Deer Park is located just 22 miles north of Spokane's city center, at an elevation of 2,112 feet above sea level. However, it is in close proximity to twenty lakes and recreational areas. Deer Park boasts of having the most per capita acreage dedicated to parks than other Washington cities. Deer Park has a variety of outdoor recreational facilities from golf courses to skate parks.

Other cities/towns within the Little Spokane watershed include: Colbert, Chatteroy, Elk, Mead and Clayton.
